CRYSIS : A Video Review

Crysis is a science fiction first
person shooter game developed
by German video game developer
Crytek Frankfurt and published by
Electronic ArtsThis game has been released
on November 2007. Yeah, its an old
game, but that doesnt make this a bad
game. Besides that, this game has the
best game graphics untill now, 2009.
I didnt see any games that can beat this game
graphics untill now. Not even COD4, GTA4,
Gears of War or Bioshock. This game
also has been awarded by Gamespot
for the Best Shooter in its Best of 2007 awards,
also by IGN, Gamereactor and PC Gamer.



The story is simple. Set in August 2020,
Crysis follows Lieutenant Jake Dunn —
codenamed "Nomad" — a United States
Army Delta Force operative. As Crysis
begins, an American team of archaeologists
are taken captive by the North Korean Army,
just as they were making an important
discovery in the South China Sea. The United
States responds by deploying a team of Delta
Force soldiers — supported by the USS
Constitution Carrier Strike Group — who
begin to engage the North Koreans' large
military installations. During this phase of the
game, the setting is a tropical environment.
At the end of the first section, the mountain at
the center of the island begins to crumble revealing
a two-kilometer high alien structure beneath
the surface, out of which aliens begin attacking
both the US Military and North Koreans.

This the place where you "hangout" throughout
the game.

Nomad is armed with various futuristic weapons
and equipment, most notably a "Nano Suit Muscle"
which is capable for four modes:- Armor
(absorbing damage), strength, speed, and cloak.

Nanosuits makes things better and smarter..

The AI(Artificial Intelligence) of this game
is impressive and reacts realisticly. Enemy
soldiers employ tactical maneuvers, work as
squads, hide and ambush amongst the scenery,
and adapt to changing environments and
conditions. AI soldiers will also respond to
sound and subtle movements triggered by
the player's movement. While not engaged
in combat, the AI soldiers will also exhibit
typical and lifelike behavior, such as smoking,
yawning, talking, urinating, patrolling,
saluting superior officers, etc. Sometimes
these actions depend on whether or not the
player was detected earlier. If Nomad has
not been sighted in some missions, he can
find some enemies sleeping upon arriving to
his destination. In contrast if he has been
spotted they will all be alert.

Do not let the crazy alien chase you..They very
intelligent...

As in the other shooting games, this game
provides many choices of weapons such as
assault rifles, sub-machine guns, pistols,
LAWs, shotguns, miniguns, sniper rifles,
gauss rifles, an Alien energy-based mini-gun
like weapon and a TAC gun. All of these
weapons can be modified with many types
of attachments such as flashlights, silencer,
sniper scopes, etc. Think of it, attaching a
sniper scope to a shotgun or sub-machine guns.
How cool is that!!

Hmm...assault rifles with a sniper scope.... Interested?

If you're gettin this game(Malaysian peeps),
you might going to LowYat. Also, if you're
living around Cheras(Selangor), The Mines will
gonna give a great deal for this game. Remember
